Texas State, Tech game won’t air on Longhorn Network

A Sept. 8 football game between Texas State and Texas Tech will air on ESPN3, Western Athletic Conference officials said today. The announcement seemingly sidesteps a threat from Texas Tech athletic brass, reported in the San Marcos Mercury and elsewhere, to cancel the game rather than have it air on the Longhorn Network.
