P&Z approves rezoning of small Buie Tract parcel

San Marcos Planning and Zoning commissioners approved a re-zoning of a small Buie Tract piece last week after that piece had been pulled from such consideration by the developers in May. One commissioner said it looked to him as if the developer did an "end run" around city council rules.

Buie Tract changes turn official as opponents fume

After a long citizen comments session at Tuesday's San Marcos City Council meeting, the council declined to reconsider zoning changes to the Buie Tract, meaning those changes now have become law.
