National magazine picks Bobcats to win basketball division

The Texas State men's basketball team has received a nod from The Sporting News, which selected the Bobcats to win the West Division in the Southland Conference. The Sporting News also put Texas State forward Cameron Johnson on the all-conference team and picked A.J. Stewart, the Texas State transfer from Kentucky, as newcomer of the year.
