Mattis resigns as Kyle city manager after eight years

The Kyle City Council accepted the resignation of City Manager Tom Mattis after a two-hour executive session that ended after midnight Wednesday morning. Mattis, who served eight years in the position, will receive a payment of up to $250,000 from the city.
