Documentary premiere kicks off historical weekend

For the most elaborate effort yet in a series of local history documentaries, the Hays County Historical Commission commissioned — and then destroyed — a full-scale replica of a Union gunboat. The documentary on Confederate war hero Peter C. Woods premieres Friday, May 2.

Graffiti led fire marshal to suspected fish hatchery arsonists
