Texas State awards children’s book award to Florida author

Alex Sanchez’s young adult novel Bait has been named the Tomás Rivera Mexican American Children’s Book Award recipient. Sanchez will give a presentation on Oct. 20 in San Marcos and participate in a public celebration later that day.
