Neighborhood meeting to discuss apartments at Craddock, RR 12

A multi-neighborhood meeting has been scheduled for Jan. 23 at 3 p.m. to discuss proposed apartments at the southeast corner of Craddock Avenue and RR 12. The meeting will be held at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1523 Old RR 12.

San Marcos officials have announced street work projects affecting traffic through Christmas and beyond. One lane on northbound and southbound Interstate-35 will be closed overnight Monday near the Aquarena Springs Drive exit (Exit 206).

San Marcos officials have announced construction projects affecting traffic through Saturday. Coming soon is the closure of the Interstate-35 southbound exit ramp at Aquarena Springs Drive until at least mid-February.

The City of San Marcos opened the Craddock Avenue extension last week. Mayor Susan Narvaiz and City Councilmembers were joined by city staff, consultants and area residents to pull apart the barricades and officially open the roadway.
