Texas State to play in Cancun Governor's Cup

Texas State will send its men's basketball team to Cancun, Mexico, right before Christmas to compete in the Cancun Governor's Cup. The Bobcats will compete against seven other teams, all of which saw postseason action in 2010.

The Texas State men's basketball team went to Fort Worth for the consolation rounds of the NIT Tipoff, but there was little consolation after their 96-77 loss Monday night to Wisconsin-Milwaukee, which dropped the Bobcats to 1-4.
