Luling Country Fair

Hosted by Kiwanis Club of Luling and the Luling Lions Club, the second annual Luling Country Fair kicks off with the 5K Fun Run/Walk the morning of Saturday, May 23.

Events including the Country Prince and Princes contest; Fry’s Fun Farm with train rides and petting zoo; and the Texas Minirod Tractor Pullers Association-sanctioned tractor pull.

Live entertainment is booked starting at 1 p.m. Performers include Ben E. Brady, Nancy Scott, Thomas McNeal, Gary Windham and Jim Mugford. Pete Moore of Straight Country will serve as the emcee and deejay.

Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for children (ages four to 12 years old). Active duty military and children younger than three years old are admitted free. Money raised from entrance fees funds scholarships for Luling High School students.
