Central Texas Medical Center has honored 10 new high school graduates from San Marcos, Kyle and Lockhart with $1,000 scholarships. Students were selected based on their academic achievement, community involvement and career goals.
“We are pleased to have the opportunity to reward such deserving students with funds that will help them in their upcoming college careers,” said Sam Huenergardt, CTMC’s president and chief executive officer.

The money can be applied to tuition, books or living expenses at universities, colleges or trade schools. CTMC began its scholarship program for high school students in 1997.
