Tonight’s Tejas Brothers concert moved to The Marc downtown

With skies threatening rain this afternoon, officials have moved the second Keep San Marcos Beautiful Spring Concert to The Marc, 120 E. San Antonio St., instead of the usual location at San Marcos Plaza Park.

Most pre-concert events have been cancelled but some vendors will set up booths in the venue’s lobby. The free concert begins at 7:30 p.m.

Tonight’s featured performers, The Tejas Brothers, have played their blend of Tex-Mex honky-tonk on stages across the nation since debuting in 2006. Next Thursday, the Keep San Marcos Beautiful Series will welcome Curtis Grimes followed by Bluffett on April 30.

This event is funded through grants and donations from Texas Commission on the Arts, the San Marcos Convention & Visitors Bureau, Texas Disposal Systems, Grande Communications, Silverleaf Resorts, The Root Cellar, Erbert & Gerbert’s, Hampton Inn & Suites, The Hitch, Carson Properties and Full Circle Salon.
