WIMBERLEY — Repairs to the Green Acres Drive bridge over Wilson Creek in Pct. 3 near Wimberley will begin Tuesday, June 3, officials said today. Drivers should expect periodic one-lane traffic over the bridge through the end of June.
Asphalt was stripped from the bridge roadway during the Halloween Floods of 2013. A contractor for Hays County will be replacing the asphalt with concrete. Because school buses use the bridge, repairs were scheduled for summer, county spokesperson Laureen Chernow said.
