The Texas State women’s basketball team split its games in the Sun Belt Conference during the past week and remains tied for fourth place.
The Bobcats lost, 77-70, at Arkansas-Little Rock on Jan. 22, then beat Troy at Strahan Coliseum, 87-82 in overtime. The Bobcats now are 4-3 in the Sun Belt, tied with South Alabama for fourth place in the Sun Belt. Arkansas State leads the league at 6-1, followed by Western Kentucky and Georgia State at 5-2.
Ashley Ezeh scored 19 points to lead the Bobcats against UALR.
Erin People led the Bobcats with 22 points against Troy and added nine rebounds. Jacqueline Jeffcoat led the Bobcats with 11 rebounds and added 11 points, while Ezeh had 14 points and six rebounds.
