A daily rundown of live entertainment in and around San Marcos tonight, compiled by Mercury Scene Editor Hap Mansfield and our content partners at San Marcos Tonight.
You’d never know by looking at it but through the doors of Cheatham Street Warehouse have passed some of the most influential musicians of the last 40 some odd years. From George Strait to Stevie Ray to Randy Rogers (and so many more), they all started at song swaps and open mics at the venerable old cotton warehouse. The intimate setting has a homey feel and a remarkable resonance for all kinds of music. Tonight, a Thanksgiving potluck and song swap will warm your innards and your soul. Bring your tater tot casserole or green beans almondine and head on over for a wonderful night at the historic venue. The Cheatham Street Warehouse is one of the things for which San Marcos is both noted and thankful.
