A daily rundown of live entertainment in and around San Marcos tonight, compiled by Mercury Scene Editor Hap Mansfield and our content partners at San Marcos Tonight.
Tonight features a tribute to Celia Cruz (pictured) who reigned as the “Queen of Salsa” from the 1950s until her death in 2008. She is arguably still “la reina del salsa”. The Tribute will be performed by Orquesta Cascabel, Orquesta Del Rio, and Salsa Del Rio at San Marcos High School Performing Arts Center. Special guest artists Cita Rodriguez and Eddie Bermudez will be performing as well. Aye muy caliente! (It will be hot stuff!)
