A special reception will be held tonight for artists Kim Bishop and Luis Valderas at Centro Cultural Hispano de San Marcos tonight from 6-8 p.m. Both artists are from the cutting-edge San Antonio-based “Art to the Thrid Power” and their images are often whimsical, powerful and impressive. Also on display is artwork from San Marcos High School and the ArtSpace. Centro Cultural Hispano de San Marcos has a museum open to the public from 10 a.m to 2 p.m. on Saturdays and it’s well worth a gaze. too.
