The jumpin’-est joint in town will be Evans Auditorium when Texas State’s Jazz Ensemble takes the stage with a big band repertoire that could cause Jack C. Hayes to get off his horse and start jitterbugging on the courthouse lawn. Selections tonight will include works by Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Thad Jones, Buddy Rich and much more. Tickets can be purchased at the door, the music starts up at 7:30. Be there or be square.
