Texas State’s volleyball team will try to survive the pack in the middle of the Sun Belt Conference standings during the season’s final four games.

The Bobcats are 8-6 in the league, tied for third with Louisiana-Lafayette (ULL) and Texas-Arlington (UTA). South Alabama and Arkansas State both are in the running for third at 6-8.
Western Kentucky is dominating the Sun Belt at 12-1, and Arkansas-Little Rock (UALR) is a comfortable second place at 11-3.
The Bobcats will close out their regular season the hard way, with two road trips. This weekend, they go through Louisiana to play at Louisiana-Monroe (ULM) Friday at 7 p.m., then at ULL Sunday at 1 p.m.
Next weekend, the Bobcats will venture through Arkansas to play at UALR on Nov. 15 and at Arkansas State on Nov. 17.
The Bobcats are coming off a four-set victory at Strahan Coliseum on Sunday, which was Senior Day. The scores were 25-18, 19-25, 25-18, 25-12.
Seniors led the Texas State attack. Amari Deardorff finished with a match-high 15 kills and a .324 hitting percentage. Ashlee Hilbun added 10 kills. Molly Ahrens had nine kills with a match-high .368 hitting percentage.
