Live Feed: Jury deliberates public corruption charges against former ESD commissioner

After a two-week trial, a Hays County jury is deliberating felony public corruption charges against Kyle resident Phillip Ferraz, a former president of the Caldwell-Hays Emergency Services District No. 1. The San Marcos Mercury was in the courtroom for much of the 37.5 hours of testimony heard since the trial started Sept. 10. We’ll tell you about the trial while we’re waiting for a verdict; depending on how long the jury deliberates, this may be long a tale, or a short one.
