A daily rundown of live entertainment in and around San Marcos tonight, compiled by Mercury Scene Editor Hap Mansfield and our content partners at San Marcos Tonight.
Tonight’s free movie in the park is Pixar’s Academy-Award-winning Best Animated Feature film, Brave. With music performed by the London Symphony Orchestra and the vocal talents of Emma Thompson, Robbie Coltrane and Billy Connolly, just to name a few, the movie will appeal to everyone in the family. The popular Mumford and Sons contributed a song, as well. The message is girl-power with a slight detour into the realms of magic and bears. The action starts at sunset.
Pre-movie games begin one hour before sunset! Come early, pick out your perfect spot and enjoy the movie and festivities. Don’t forget a blanket or chairs to make your self comfortable. Concessions available for purchase. For more information call Parks and Recreation at 512-393-8400. July 23 Movie: Brave
