Locals wishing for travel to Italy might want to check in with the Greater San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce.

The chamber is offering a fully-escorted tour of the Tuscany region in Italy, which will last from March 20-29, 2014. The trip is open to chamber members and non-members who are interested in travelling to Italy.

Tuscany is home to some of the most famous tourist destinations in all of Italy, including the cities of Florence, Pisa and Sienna. The region also is a business center in the furniture, leather, fashion, and manufacturing industries. These businesses keep the region in the 21st century while the people and culture keep one foot in the past.

“This is truly an amazing opportunity to discover all that Tuscany has to offer,” Chamber President Brian Bondy said. “Tuscany is what many people around the world envision as a true representation of Italy. We will take it all in as the San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce brings the dream of travelling to Tuscany to life,.”

For more information contact the chamber at (512) 393-5900.
