“Please join us June 15, Noon – 5, for the Fifth Annual Salsa Festival.  Enter your favorite salsa for a chance to win great trophies and support a great entity – the Eye of the Dog Art Center.  Entry fee is $10.  Trophies will be awarded in five categories – Best Traditional, Best Non-Traditional, Most Unique, Best Presentation, and Blow Your Face Off!  In addition,  the people’s choice salsa will win the amazing Top Dog Trophy!  We’ve officially added another category to the festivities this year – Best Queso.  Compete in this category to win the coveted Cheese Head Trophy.  Enter in as many categories as you wish, $10 per entry.  All entries are due by 3 o’clock.  Each contestant has a space approx. 18″ x 18″ to display their entry.   Live music performed by Billy Ray Mangham, the Tomcat Trio, and more.  Free hotdogs and beverages.  Silent Auction and raffle with art work by Billy Ray Mangham and others.  Voting for the Top Dog Trophy is done with $$$$$.  Bring plenty of bills to vote for your favorite!  Your generous donations and entry fees will help us build the outdoor kitchen and Bar B Que hut we have envisioned for so long.  This addition to the art center will allow us to teach cooking classes and offer more amenities for gatherings and events.  Fire up those recipes!  Bring your friends!
