Tonight’s Best Bet

Yes, it’s the last night to see Robbie Doyen with the Robots but that’s not the only reason to go (see the current Mercury interview with Doyen for details.) Their catchy, spirited, bubbly fizz gives added meaning to the words “pop music.” If you could manufacture the stuff you’d have lightning in a bottle. Robbie and the Robots will be at the Triple Crown, 206  North Edward Gary St., tonight with the added bonus of Spilt Milk and Sp_aces. The music starts up at 6 p.m. with the always entertaining Eric Hisaw.  Should be a really fun, one-of-a-kind night.
