A flash flood watch is in effect from 6 p.m. today until 9 a.m. Saturday morning in San Marcos and eastern portions of South Central Texas, according to the National Weather Service.
Showers are likely this afternoon and there may be a thunderstorm. Showers and thunderstorms will occur tonight and could produce heavy rainfall, according to NWS. The temperature is expected to be about 59 degrees today at the warmest and 52 degrees tonight at the coldest.
Showers and thunderstorms will occur before noon Saturday followed by a slight chance of showers, according to NWS. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall and the temperature is expected to be as high as about 60 degrees during the day and as low as about 41 degrees that night.
Sunday is expected to be sunny and as warm as 64 degrees. Sunday night is expected to be mostly cloudy and as cold as 41 degrees.
