The Texas State University Police Department is investigating an incident involving a suspicious chemical spill.

Someone called UPD on Monday at about 10:58 a.m. to report the odor of gasoline in the third floor men’s restroom in the Evans Liberal Arts Building on campus. Police say the substance was probably left in the restroom between 9 a.m. and the time of the call. The suspect would probably have had the odor of gasoline on or about his or her body, according to police.
