Sheriff’s Office to hold Saturday open house

The Hays County Sheriff’s Office invites all members of the public to attend a family-friendly open house to on Oct 8.

The event will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1303 and 1307 Uhland Road in San Marcos. The open house will feature tours of the Sheriff’s Office Complex and exhibits related to SWAT, the Crisis Negotiations Team, K-9, Community Emergency Response Team, and the Traffic Division, in addition to all the divisions in the Sheriff’s Office. Other activities at the open house will include a dunking booth, bouncy castle, rock climbing wall, fingerprinting for kids, face painting and more. Food and refreshments will be provided at no cost.

The open house is intended to serve as an opportunity for Hays County residents to learn more about the Sheriff’s Office.
