Texas State to host dozens of employers for job fair Wednesday

Texas State University will soon host more than 80 employers from throughout the country at the school’s Fall Job & Internship Fair in San Marcos.

The event, which has attracted more than 900 Texas State students, alumni and members of the community, will be in the LBJ Student Center Ballroom on Oct. 5, from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Companies at the fair will include Apple, Accenture, Gary Job Corps, H-E-B, Kohl’s, USAA, and Lilly, USA. A complete list of attending companies can be found on the Career Services blog.

Every employer booth was sold out for this year’s job and internship fair, according to the university.

The fair will be free and open to the public. The university encourages attendance by students, alumni, and members of the community seeking full-time, part-time, and internship opportunities.

For students with a parking permit, free parking is available in the West Campus and Speck parking garages. Other attendees may park in the LBJ Student Center parking lot for a fee.
