Kendra does have a mental illness that she is not currently taking medication for and we believe the children are in danger. Kendra also has history of running away and the mother immediately began checking known residences in the Austin area for her children. The father was notified and they began a joint search. The mother’s brother in-law spotted the vehicle in Austin on Saturday and the mother went to a location off of Burton Road in Austin. The Austin Police Department was notified and a report was filed with their agency for the recovered vehicle and the children were entered as runaways by the Austin Police Department. The mother filed a report with Hays County late Saturday afternoon.

After a second interview with the mother this afternoon by Hays County detectives determined that an Amber Alert needed to be activated in order to locate the children.

We are asking any citizen who has seen Kendra, Mariana, or Jasmine to call 911 immediately.
