Santa Claus to arrive in Kyle on Dec. 1

The City of Kyle’s Parks and Recreation Department announced that its 12th Annual Santa’s Arrival and Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place on Dec.1 on Front Street between the historic Train Depot and Kyle City Hall from 4:30-9:30 p.m.

Santa will arrive by firetruck, courtesy of the Kyle Fire Department, at 4:30 p.m. Santa will begin seeing children at 5 p.m. inside Kyle City Hall. Pictures will be taken by Kyle H-E-B Plus and personal cameras also are welcome.

The tree lighting ceremony will be at 6 p.m.

The event will feature food vendors, free activities for kids and performances by choirs from Hays CISD elementary, middle and high schools.
