The Texas State women’s basketball team improved to 2-0 Monday night with a 69-45 win against Texas-Tyler (UTT) at Strahan Coliseum.
The Bobcats forced 19 turnovers and held UTT to 25.8 percent shooting. The Bobcats have held each of their opponents to less than 30 percent shooting.
The Bobcats went on an 18-5 run to take a 24-16 lead as Verinus Kalu and Ashley Ezeh combined to score 12 of the team’s first 24 points.
The Bobcats increased the lead to 38-24 at halftime.
Texas State will be back in action on Nov. 23 at Strahan Coliseum against Idaho State.Email | Print
