It’s time once again for the Friends of the San Marcos Public Library Fall Used Book Sale, scheduled to take place at the VFW Hall, 1701 Hunter Road, to be held Oct. 29-31.
The book sale will run from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Oct. 29, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Oct. 30 and from 1 p.m.-5 p.m. on Oct. 31.
On Oct. 29, paperback books will cost $1 and hardcover books will be $2. On Oct. 30, paperback books will be 50 cents and hardcover books will be $1. On the final day of the sale, Oct. 31, a bag of books will cost $5. Bargains will be had throughout the sale, with prices better on the last day but the selection more extensive on the first day of the sale.
All proceeds from the book sale benefit the San Marcos Public Library.
Many volunteers are still needed to help with the sale. Those interested in volunteering to help may call the library at (512) 393-8200 to sign up for a shift.
