Hays County authorities have released these two photos of Paul Tovar, 42, of San Marcos, who is wanted in the death of a Lockhart man whose body was found during a traffic stop in New Braunfels last week.
Hays County deputies have charged three men in the case arising last week from the discovery of a body located by New Braunfels police after a traffic stop.
Authorities are still looking for a fourth suspect. An arrest warrant has been issued for Paul Tovar, 42, of San Marcos, in connection with the death.
Tovar is an Hispanic male weighting approximately 185 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He is known to stay in and around the San Marcos area. Tovar’s vehicle was found abandoned in San Antonio. Authorities are seeking any information leading to the whereabouts of Tovar. He is considered to be armed and dangerous.
Hays County Crime Stoppers have identified Tovar as their most wanted fugitive.
Police already have charged three Hays County men in the death of Walter Capello, 35, of Lockhart, whose body was discovered in the vehicle when it was stopped in New Braunfels last week. Those charged are Johnny Gilbert Soliz, Jr., 45, of San Marcos, Nemesio Garcia, Jr., 31, of San Marcos, and Eloy Davlia, Jr., 52, of Wimberley.
The three suspects are in the Hays County Jail. Bond for each has been set at $750,000 by Judge Jo Anne Prado.
