Sheriff's office seeks teenager in burglaries

Hays County deputies have issued an arrest warrant for 19-year-old Christopher Moler of San Marcos in connection with recent automobile burglaries.

At about 9:50 a.m. on Aug. 3, Hays County deputies were dispatched to an address in the 300 block of Booth Street for a reported burglary in which a large number of tools and electrical tools were taken. Deputies had been alerted earlier about a suspicious vehicle in the neighborhood.

Deputies located an unoccupied vehicle in the neighborhood and recovered all property taken in the burglary, along with other property that has been tied to two auto burglaries in the county and an additional burglary and auto burglary in San Marcos.

The investigation is continuing.
