STAFF REPORT
The San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce is holding its 25th annual business expo next Wednesday and Thursday at the City of San Marcos Conference Center and Embassy Suites.
The Aug. 25 session will run from 5-8 p.m., and the Aug. 26 session will go from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Chamber officials said last year’s session was a record event for participation, with more than 1,000 people attending. The chamber said it expects this year’s expo is expected to sell out. But there remains a chance to procure booths at early bird rates, which are $625 for a premium booth, $425 for a standard booth and $350 for a non-profit booth. Non-profit organizations must submit proof of their status to receive the non-profit rare. The early bird rates apply only if the chamber receives payments by Friday.
Each booth is eight feet by 10 feet and booths may be combined to form larger spaces. Each space includes pipe and drape space dividers, one booth exhibitor sign, one skirted and covered six-foot table, two chairs and one trash receptacle.
Premium booths are located in high traffic areas of the exhibit hall. A limited number of premium booths are available. The first available will go to expo sponsors.
Expo exhibitor and attendee contact listings also are available for $25. The email list will include the names of all the expo participants.
