Prevent a Litter (PALS) of Central Texas is sponsoring a free spay/neuter clinic for pets on Aug. 17, at PAWS Animal Shelter, 500 East Highway 150 in Kyle. The clinic will be open for appointments at 8 a.m.
Low income families who receive federal aid or have other financial hardships may quality for assistance by calling (512) 754-7257 and pressing 2 to leave a message. Qualification may also be achieved by email. Send your request to vouchers@preventalitter.com.
Appointments and approval are are required to participate in the free clinic.

The Emancipet mobile spay/neuter clinic is in San Marcos about once a month. They set up in the parking lot of the animal shelter at 750 River Rd. You will need to have an appointment. You can find their schedule and a list of fees here: http://www.emancipet.org/spay-neuter/lowcost-sn-outside/
If those prices are too high, PALS may have some vouchers available depending on your situation. For those outside of San Marcos, Emancipet also comes to sites in Wimberley, Dripping Springs, Lockhart, and Kyle.
