Ray Hernandez, executive director of the Kyle Area Chamber of Commerce (KACC) spoke to chamber members Tuesday at the group’s “Back to School” luncheon.
Hernandez spoke about statewide awards the Kyle chamber won from the Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives (TCCE).
Hernandez was joined by the Kyle chamber board of directors, Kyle chamber tourism committee members, elected officials, City of Kyle staff and Kyle chamber members.
“The Kyle area chamber has worked with partners like the City of Kyle in creating a community where economic and tourism development can flourish,” Hernandez said. “These awards are an example of leadership and vision by the many volunteers and staff members in telling the great story that is ‘Kyle, Texas — Simply Charming.’”
Among the awards the Kyle chamber won from the TCCE were first place state in the brochure category for the “Kyle, Texas-Simply Charming,” brochure, first place for the “Kyle, Texas-Simply Charming” marketing campaign, second place for the “Gala on the Green” marketing campaign and third place for the “Kyle Fair and Music Festival.”
The KACC has won 12 awards in the last three years at the TCCE state conference, more than any chamber of commerce in Texas.
