Library features 'vroom hats' craft on Friday

The San Marcos Public Library, 625 East Hopkins Street, will offer an art project Friday from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. that is anything but old hat.  Kids ages five and older, or younger with adult help, are invited to make their own train, plane and car-themed hats.

This fun craft will take 20 to 30 minutes to complete. The “Vroom Hats” will be made at the “Creation Station” at the library.

The big purple calendar of events can be picked up at the library where this, and other art projects and programs, can be found. The calendar also can be viewed by visiting www.sanmarcostx.gov/library and clicking on the Summer Reading Program.
