It’s Christmas in July this week at the San Marcos Public Library, 625 East Hopkins Street, with a both a play and a summer snowstorm craft project to help kids forget about the heat.
The popular puppet show “The Night Before Christmas in Texas” will be presented Tuesday at 7 p.m. and on Wednesday at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. The show may convince attendees that Santa is a Texan.
On Friday, the library will feature its Summer Snowstorm craft project from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The crafts are designed for children five years old or older, or younger with adult help. The crafts take around 20 to 30 minutes to complete.
