Tennis boosters recieve appreciation from school board

San Marcos CISD trustees recognized the San Marcos High School (SMHS) Tennis Boosters at this week’s school board meeting for their dedication and efforts.

The tennis boosters made an all-out effort to improve the San Marcos CISD tennis courts with fundraising projects and volunteers. They headed the beautification project for the courts and pursued donations from businesses and individuals. Their efforts resulted in funds and volunteers for landscaping, drainage improvements, installing pavers, planting greenery and enlarging the spectator area.

Certificates of appreciation were presented to SMHS Tennis Boosters to organizer Dr. Randy Rogers, boosters President Mary Braun, Pavestone Company, Tuttle Lumber, Braun Group, Central Texas Tennis Academy and Jerry and Dawn Breihan Hopp.
