The City of Dripping Springs opened the swimming pool at Founder’s Memorial Park last weekend and will begin to conduct swimming lessons there Tuesday.
The pool will be open Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 6 p.m., and from 1-6 p.m. on Sundays. Children three years old and younger are admitted free, children aged four through 11 pay $2.50, youths 12 to 17 are admitted for $3 and anyone 18 and older pays $3.50. Children younger than 12 must be accompanied by someone 18 or older.
Season swim passes are available at $40 per child, $50 per youth, $60 for adults, $120 for families of four persons or fewer, and $135 for families of five or more.
The first session of summer swim lessons begins Tuesday and runs through June 24. Lessons will be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for 45 minutes each. Residents pay $65 per session, while non-residents pay $70 per session.
