CTMC attempts to start Weight Watchers class

Central Texas Medical Center (CTMC) Institute for Healthy Living is attempting to offer a 17-week Weight Watchers program.

The program would be held every Tuesday afternoon from 12:00-1:00 p.m. in CTMC’s Community Classroom. The cost for enrollment is $186 per person which also includes 19 weeks of eTools.

Before launching the program, a minimum of 20 confirmed participants must be enrolled. Those wishing to participate are asked to email jessica.mease@ahss.org or call (512) 753-3622.

CTMC hopes to begin the program in middle to late June.

The Weight Watchers program emphasizes healthy habits, good choices, exercise and weekly meetings guided by a trained Weight Watchers leader.
