The City of Kyle will rededicate its historic city hall building on Center Street in a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 8.
Food and music will be available until 6 p.m. and there will also be a drawing for a 32” Samsung TV.
The ceremony will mark the end to an $800,000 renovation job bringing the 1912 building back to its old glory.
The old city hall will be established as a community center that will primarily be used by the Kyle Area Senior Zone. On Tuesday, the city council approved a special use agreement for the senior citizens’ group.
