Central Texas Medical Center (CTMC) will host the Cottage Kitchen meal Friday with a Cinco de Mayo appropriate Fajita meal. The Cottage Kitchen luncheon is held in support of the Heritage Foundation of San Marcos.
The Cottage Kitchen is located at the historic Charles S. Cock House Museum, 400 East Hopkins Street. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
CTMC boasts that there will be a lot of food packed on to the $7 plate meals. The meal will feature chicken, steak and veggie fajitas, beans, rice and cornbread. Key lime pie and bistro desserts also will be available. People who are not able to join the luncheon at the Cottage Kitchen may place a to-go order and it will be wrapped up for taking out.
