H-E-B recalls bread as precautionary measure

While there have been no illnesses reported, H-E-B has issued a precautionary recall for Hill County Fare wheat sandwich bread due to the possible presence of foreign material.

The recall is for the 24-ounce loaf of  Hill Country Fare Wheat Sandwich Bread, Universal Product Code (UPC) 0004122078985.

The recall only affects packages whose best-by dates are 08 HBB 123 Best by May 13 and 09 HBB 124 Best by May 14 .

H-E-B asks customers who purchased the affected bread to return it to the store for a full refund.
