Thunderhill to run full slate of races

KYLE — The lights will be on at Thunderhill Raceway Saturday night with a full slate of races starting at 6 p.m.

The pit gate opens at 11:30 a.m. for racers, with a “test-n-tune” going from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Grandstand gates open at 5 p.m., with qualifying runs to start at 5:30 p.m.

The heat races will begin at 6 p.m. for grand stocks, mini stocks, Texas pro sedans, dwarf cars and super stocks.

Following the qualifying runs and heats, the feature races will begin for grand stocks, mini stocks, Texas pro sedans, thunder stocks, Texas Super Racing Series (TSRS) Allison legacies, dwarf cars, pro modifieds, ASA A-Line super stocks and TSRA late models.

Admission is $12, with a $2 grandstand discount for students, military, senior citizens, police officers, firefighters and emergency medical service workers, with identification. Military in uniform gets in for free, as to children ages 12 and younger.
