Block of Comanche Street to close next week

A block of Comanche Street between Wood and Lindsey Streets will be closed Monday, April 26 through Friday, April 30 to complete work on a wastewater line and street repaving.

Traffic will be detoured to North Guadalupe, Pat Garrison and West Wood Street.

On Monday, the contractor will begin the final testing of the new wastewater line on Comanche from Woods Street to approximately 200 feet past the Lindsey St. intersection. The contractor will then mill the pavement and apply the final asphalt overlay to the road.

Residents in the construction zone will have access to all driveways and mailboxes during the construction.
