There are a number of wonderful critters at the San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter who need a loving home. Here are a few examples. When you adopt a pet, you save a life.

This charming creature is Eloise. She is a very sweet Siamese flame-point mix cat who loves people,  attention and petting from everyone. Eloise is an affectionate cat that is sure to catch your eye with her beautiful cream-colored fur and gorgeous blue eyes.

This is Cooper, a sleek, young, energetic lab mix. He loves to run and play. He needs plenty of exercise and maybe some agility work. Cooper’s perfect home would be with an active person or family to give him lots of love and attention. He would make an excellent running companion.

The San Marcos Mutt Strutt will be on April 17 at River Ridge Park, which is located near exit 207 on Interstate-35 by Butler Manufacturing and Grande Communications. Registration starts at 9 a.m. with the walk starting at 10 a.m.
