‘Celebrity’ car wash rescheduled

The “Celebrity” Car Wash benefiting the Hays-Caldwell Women’s Center (HCWC) that was to take place at Conley Car Wash Saturday has been rescheduled due to a rainy forecast.

The car wash benefit will instead take place on March 27 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Conley Car Wash and Express Lube, 1200 Thorpe Lane.

From 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., 15 percent of every car wash and detail, as well as every full service oil change, will be donated to the HCWC. Local “celebrities” will help clean the cars, and the tips they receive will be donated directly to the center.
