Motley Menagerie back in Kyle

The Kyle Area Chamber of Commerce (KACC) brought out the big scissors and city mainstays brought out smiles as the Motley Menagerie, out of sight for a couple years, returned recently to its comfortable location at 602 West Center Street.

Among those to celebrate the ribbon cutting were Hays County Precinct 2 Justice of the Peace Beth Smith, Kyle Mayor Lucy Johnson, Councilmember David Wilson, City Manager Tom Mattis and city staff. Family and friends looked on as owner and head sandwich creator Darleen Motley sliced up the red ribbon.

After a short departure, the Motley Menagerie is back.

“We are very happy about all the great development that continues to happen here in Kyle along Interstate-35 with the new Seton Hospital and stores like Target and H-E-B Plus!” Mattis said. “But it is entrepreneurs like Jerry and Darleen Motley that have a commitment and vision in the creation of unique business like the Motley Menagerie that helps make Kyle simply charming.”
