Principals receive Major Saver checks from SMEF

San Marcos CISD elementary school principals recently received the “Major Saver” checks from the San Marcos Education Foundation (SMEF). The Major Saver checks represent a portion of the proceeds raised by SMCISD students through the sale of the Major Saver discount cards.

The student sales garnered over $12, 900 for San Marcos CISD and the San Marcos Education Foundation.

Crockett Elementary received $1,570, Bowie Elementary got $1, 325, Hernandez Elementary was awarded $1,115, Lorenzo De Zavala Elementary’s check was $1,012.50, Travis Elementary received $947.50, and Irene K. Mendez Elementary got $510.
